Helen & Brian, we got a little busy for a couple of days and I fell behind on my daily fix on the blog... thanks so much for the great pictures.If there was a few that made me miss home just a little, it would be those with the mountain ranges, beautiful fir trees and of course the snow on Snoqualmie pass, probably because you can go & see that just 45 minutes from the city. Now don't get the wrong idea that I'm that home sick or going to do anything foolish.... after all I just finished 18 holes of golf, it was a perfect 82 degrees and I'm putting my sorry self on an air mattress in the pool with a ice cold cocktail... (the snow looks great in the pictures) Love you all a bunch your brother !! Vinnie & Carla

Getting together and just spending time together one on one like that is what it is all about. Preparing home cooked meals together, laughing, sharing old & fond memories... opening a nice bottle of wine and taking a brief trip back in time touches my heart deeply because these are the bonds that connect us forever. It was very relaxing having you as house guest, you had visiting to do & it still afforded us all to hook-up later in the day. The road trip to Sedona & the Grand Canyon was perfect.... we feel fortunate that our first trip there was with you two. Brian.... I can't tell you how proud I am of you for not laying up once we made the trip... another one of the stories I'll get to share with Grand children, and I mean that in a very positive way.... we love you both tons & you now know your way here... don't be strangers... Well Helen & Brian, I'm sure your very aware of how close your starting to get to Arizona & that if the sunshine in Southern Cal is good there is plenty more this way. Carla & I both have swam in the pool a couple of times when we had a few days that got up to the mid & high 80's and of course most of our friends & neighbors were in shock... but once we explained were from the Pacific Northwest and swimming in Elliott Bay is never heated the completely understood. We didn't share with them that it's been awhile since we've done that, so they think were pretty hardcore... but the water was 60 degrees, just perfect.Were waiting patiently, enjoy the rest of the trip.. & be sure to give us a little bit of a heads up so that we can be sure to be here when you show up... love you both Vinnie & Carla
