Monday April 6th
It is another wonderful sunny day in Palm Springs. Brian is not missing our Washington weather. We woke up and took off early to get some coffee and shopping. We are planning to spend a few days here. Brians friend has offered us his place in Indio to stay at while we visit relatives. Joey DiFabio is going to fly in this evening to spend his spring break with his Aunt Bunny (aka Kim) and Uncle Bruce, as well as his Grandma and Grandpa. Kim and Aunt Jan are planning a dinner tomorrow night with everyone. It is sure to bring lots of fun and laughter. We'll be sure to take some photos to share with you in the next couple of days.
Brian wants to buy a small space down here so we'll be able to come down each year for the winter. It is quite tempting.

Well Helen & Brian, I'm sure your very aware of how close your starting to get to Arizona & that if the sunshine in Southern Cal is good there is plenty more this way. Carla & I both have swam in the pool a couple of times when we had a few days that got up to the mid & high 80's and of course most of our friends & neighbors were in shock... but once we explained were from the Pacific Northwest and swimming in Elliott Bay is never heated the completely understood. We didn't share with them that it's been awhile since we've done that, so they think were pretty hardcore... but the water was 60 degrees, just perfect.Were waiting patiently, enjoy the rest of the trip.. & be sure to give us a little bit of a heads up so that we can be sure to be here when you show up... love you both Vinnie & Carla
